&lt;P&gt;What I presented&amp;nbsp;was a subset of a PPT deck that I have been using for some time to describe this potential game changer concept and paradigm shift. As I mentioned in the blog post referenced above this is not a presentation about "how to" build a virtual appliance or similar technical details... it is more an effort to outline the effects that the adoption&amp;nbsp;of this new concept could lead us to.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Of course, as usual, feedbacks and comments are more than welcome.&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;It provides an overview and a high-level positioning of the components which a CCON strategy is comprised of with a special focus on one of the 3 CCON models which is "virtual clients". &lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;If you have already heard about these acronyms (i.e. CCON, VDI, VCS, VIA etc etc) and want to know more about their relationship please have a look at these slides. &lt;/P&gt;

As a matter of fact D&amp;amp;R&amp;nbsp;is an area where VMware Virtual Infrastructure plays a very key role. This is a document I have presented at a European Symposium on February 2006&amp;nbsp;and&amp;nbsp;it is based on a real life project I have been working on.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Consider that this was documented in the 2.5 timeframe. Today some of those things have changed but most of the other challenges remain.&lt;/P&gt;
