Given all the discussions about VDI and CCON (Client CONsolidation) in general, I decided to share a (a part of a) presentation that is supposed to clarify some of the concepts (and technologies) behind all these acronyms.
It provides an overview and a high-level positioning of the components which a CCON strategy is comprised of with a special focus on one of the 3 CCON models which is "virtual clients".
If you have already heard about these acronyms (i.e. CCON, VDI, VCS, VIA etc etc) and want to know more about their relationship please have a look at these slides.
